Code Retreat workshop: A free community event
When? May. 7th, 2023
Where? SAP; Raanana
Coderetreat is a full-day event for practicing software development. Away from the pressures of ‘getting things done’, developers focus on and develop specific aspects of how they build code to explore good software development techniques. Developers work together to build code and share their experiences.
Coderetreat uses a software problem with just enough complexity to create rich learning without overburdening the developers. By repeatedly building an implementation, adding additional challenges (Like:Testing, TDD, Pair Programming, Time to Green, Kent Beck’s 4 rules of simple design), and changing work partners frequently, Coderetreat is a framework for continuous learning how to build software better.
Retrospective Game Retreat workshop
During this workshop we experience different games and activities to use in your retrospectives. This toolkit help you push the team/s forward to continuous improvement.
What people that participated say:
- The retrospectives day was excellent. I came in with low expectations to hear yet another boring theory. I got a dynamic, fun, playful day full of knowledge.
I feel happy to try out the methods in our team. Many Thanks! [Olga Dgani, SAP]
- An excellent and very enriching workshop. I enjoyed it very much. Learned various ways to facilitate a retrospective.
The team is very assertive, not boring, facilitates the workshop in an excellent way.
The intimacy of the workshop contributed to the atmosphere and collaboration. It felt very personal. Big Like (-: [Hila Bahani, eBay]

Scrum Master week
What turns a good scrum master into a great one?
First, she should want to be the best scrum master ever. For that she needs to master agile and scrum theory. And in order to do that she needs to understand that this journey is endless. That is a hard change for her. Secondly, she will need to learn every day how the system thinks, acquire new practices, and then help the system act as one. Make it an integrated unit with a single goal.
This is why we came up with Scrum Master week: to help Scrum Masters to become their best versions of themselves.
In this week you will focus both on the desired state of mind and on practical tools that will help you in this journey. After this week, you will experience being a Scrum Master as easier and more fun.
